Size Constancy
Size constancy is the tendency to see an object as the same size regardless of whether it's far away or close.
An example of size constancy is a city skyline. We know the buildings are very tall, even from far away. If we hold our hand out the buildings are smaller, but because of size constancy, we still know the buildings are tall.
